by Ceramic Artist Stefania Zurchi
In the North East of Italy there is a little Medieval town called Cividale del Friuli and if you were to follow the ‘Lonely Planet’ Guide for the area, they would suggest a visit to the store of local artist Stefanie Zurchi who is inspired by the Friulian landscape colours and creates ‘girl’ figures that represent the seasons, as well as her highly sought after touching Madonna and Child reliefs.
This plaque that measures 23.5cm by 10.5cm is one of Sarah’s original pieces and the gentle autumn tones are so warm, earthy and beautiful. It is in pristine condition.
