Welcome to the sweet fragrances of heaven! All the Mother’s India fragrant incense range are an exquisite combination of wood powders (including sandalwood), essential oils and the key element of a native Indian resin called Halmaddi*. There are no nasties in any of their products! They are hand-rolled from the finest ingredients.

The following is a detailed description of the beautiful range of The Mother's India Incense (there are 20 sticks in a packet). I personally am addicted to the Frankincense (sweet) Nagchampa, it is a non-negotiable in my life!

Om Nagchampa - True to its name, this blend invokes peace and devotion. You will sense the sweet and soft Vanilla and the stronger notes of mystical Amber, spicy Cassia and warm balsams in symphony with the Indian temple fragrance of Champa.

Yoga Sandalwood - this Yoga Nagchampa is based on Sandalwood, the king of all scents! Perfect for meditation and feeling in balance with the earth and the cosmos.

Sweet Frankincense - Frankincense is the oldest form of incense and this stick of heaven is blended with sweet balsamic notes of Indian Benzoin, relaxing Cedar wood oil and traces of Assamese Oudh to bring mysticism and magic to this holy incense.

Omani Frankincense & Myrrh - Omani Hojari Frankincense is said to be the finest in the world and when blended with Holy Myrrh resins it is worth its weight in gold! Sweet, rosy scents to elevate your energy, your mood and your spirit.

Oudh Nagchampa - also called Agar wood and known as the 'Wood of the Gods'. Beautiful blends of Rose, Vanilla and Cedar Wood oil compliment the deep, rich and sensuous fragrance of this classic Oudh.

Lila Nagchampa - this incense is bursting with fresh Pachouli and blended beautifully with earthy vetiver, tuberose and green oak moss. With a touch of oriental spice, this is considered a blend for prosperity.

Ganesh Nagchampa - A soothing blend of various French Lavenders with hints of Rose and Rosemary and some sensuous tones of Patchouli and Amber. So special for your morning Puja and meditation.

Vishnu Nagchampa - Vishnu is the great protector! This incense is a heavenly blend of exotic spices and sweet scents of the East. Woody notes of Saffron aligned with oak moss, cedar wood and hints of citrus. Fresh, floral and woody blends.

Radha Nagchampa - Radha is the twin flame of Krishna, so this incense is an outpouring of love through the sweet fragrance of white rose and spicy geranium...it is all for love! 

Lavanya Nagchampa - A beautiful, fresh blend of jasmine, the king of flowers, with hints of ylang ylang, warm vanilla and cedar wood.

Shanti Nagchampa - Shanti means peace (think of the mantra Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti) and this incense is based on the rich and sweet temple fragrance of India, the true Nagchampa scent.

*Halmaddi is a type of treacle (a bit like sugar cane syrup). This resin is obtained from the Ailanthus Malabarica tree, which is commonly called ‘the Tree of Heaven’. It is mixed with honey to enable a slow and long-burning nagchampa incense. The Halmaddi resin gives the fragrance blends their full, sweet scent and makes the sticks soft to the touch. It is revered for its metaphysical and medicinal qualities.
