Earth Touching Buddha

This beautiful. rustic timber Buddha rests with legs crossed, left hand in the lap, and right hand facing the ground with palm inward toward the body. This is one of the most loved postures of Buddha known as Calling The Earth to Witness, because it represents when Buddha reached to the soils and called upon Earth Mother to witness his enlightenment.

It is suggested that Earth Touching Buddha should be placed in your home to face East, where the sun rises, to hold the wisdom of the Universe in the heart of your home as an acknowledgement that you are deeply connected to the nature of all things...we are all related.

Every Earth Touching Buddha is a uniquely carved, hand-painted timber statue, so there will be slight variations because no two Buddha statues are the same. They measure approximately 33cm high and 25cm wide, with a wonderful energy of harmony and peace.
